                         Dear [Hiring Manager],

I wanted to check in on the final round interview[s] for the [Job Name] position with [Candidate(s)’s Name]. How did everything go?

We’ve heard from feedback that Hiring Manager’s would really appreciate additional support on the final stages of the recruitment process. I’m happy to share that recruiters are now handling the reference check and offer stages! I’ll be working closely with you to make sure we are aligned during these stages, but I will be conducting the reference checks process and will create and send the offer.

If you would like to extend an offer to [Candidate’s Name], I will reach out to their references to make sure we complete the reference check process as quickly as possible.

If you are still need more time to reach a decision, that’s totally understandable. If you think it might take more than 5 more days to reach a decision, would you be ok with me reaching out to their references now? This doesn’t mean that we need to eventually extend an offer, but we typically try and conduct reference checks as soon as possible for candidate’s that stand a reasonable chance of receiving an offer to make sure there aren’t any slow downs in the final stages.

I also wanted to outline next steps once you decide to extend an offer, for you reference:
1) I’ll email the candidate’s references to request their comments.
2) I’ll reach out to you to confirm the offer details and then will create the offer letter.
3) Once received, I’ll conduct a final review of the reference checks and escalate any red flags to you. Note we do not need all reference checks to be fully completed to send the offer. We can add a note in the offer that the offer is contingent upon a successful reference check 
4) I’ll send the offer letter to you for a final review and once approved by you, I will send the offer to the candidate.
5)Within 24 hours of me sending the offer email, you are expected to call the candidate directly  to congratulate them, get them excited about joining the One Acre Fund family, answer any of their role-specific questions and directing for HR for benefits or HR-related questions that you are unable to answer accurately.
